SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A driver accused of killing a man on a bicycle in the Northwest Side has been arrested.
Forty-eight-year-old Melissa Nicole Peoples is charged with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid.
San Antonio police believe Peoples was drunk when her SUV struck the cyclist on the access road of IH 10 near the Dominion Monday evening. Peoples was involved in another crash, this one just outside the city limits of San Antonio, so Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies helped with the investigation.
