Driver crashes into tractor trailer on San Antonio’s Northeast side, dies on the way to hospital

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — First responders spent hours at the scene of a fatal crash on the Northeast side.
Just after 5:30 A.M. Friday a driver in a Ford Fusion was speeding along Toepperwein Road at Loma Azul.
They crashed into a tractor trailer that was pulling out of the parking lot of the San Antonio Auto Company.
The Fusion was crushed as it went under the trailer.
The driver was removed from the car but died on the way to the hospital.
No names have been released.
