Driver shot on San Antonio’s East side, police searching for shooter

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Two people were hurt when someone shot at their car in an East side neighborhood.

Police received the call at around 3 A.M. Tuesday that a man had been shot on Stoneleigh Drive.

The man had a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was brought to Brooke Army Medical Center. He’s in stable condition.

A female who was in the car with him was treated at the scene for some cuts she received when one of the car windows shattered.

Police believe the shooting actually took place in a different location and the pair was trying to get away.

No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
