What to Expect From Clinton’s Big Speech?

Hillary Clinton will deliver the most important speech of her political career Thursday Night.

We asked Matthew Wilson at SMU how much is riding on her address to the Democratic National Convention tonight.

“She needs to create an aura of competence and command. The contrast that she wants to create is the idea that Donald Trump is a loose cannon who can’t be trusted where as she is a steady hand on the tiller.”

He says a big obstacle for Hillary is that she has to follow speeches by two people recognized as very good orators.

Her husband, former President Bill Clinton and President Barrack Obama.
