Family of 4 escapes late night fire in North Bexar County

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A rough start to the New Year for a family of four in North Bexar County.
Their home on Crimson Beauty caught fire at around 10 P.M. Tuesday, bringing out crews from several area departments.
The family and their pets all got out safely but the damage to their home is estimated at $150,000.
The fire started in the attic but the cause is still under investigation.
