SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – The FBI has arrested a San Antonio loan officer in connection with the riots at the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6.
Thirty-seven-year-old Matthew Carl Mazzocco is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
FBI Special Agent Michelle Lee says Mazzocco was arrested Sunday without incident. An initial court appearance is scheduled tomorrow in San Antonio.
A screen shot from Matt Mazzocco’s Facebook page circulating on social media shows a photo of him with the U.S. Capitol in the background. The caption reads,”The capital (sic) is ours.” It was posted on TikTok by @beccaboostanaccount.

Mazzocco also is seen in a video recorded inside the Capitol and posted on social media. He’s heard telling others not to break or vandalize anything. “We’re probably all going to get in trouble,” he says.
