Fewer S.A. Homicides in 2015

A final look at the numbers from 2015 shows fewer homicides in San Antonio than the year before.

“We can’t point to one specific factor” said the San Antonio Police Department’s Sergeant Jesse Salame, pointing to the 94 homicides in the Alamo City in 2015–compared to the 103 the year before.

“There’s nothing that stood out this year that pointed to one specific thing” Salame said, adding “We’re just grateful for the decline.”
