Fire at East Side motel called “suspicious” by San Antonio firefighters

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — No injuries reported from the scene of a fire at an East Side motel.

It was called in at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Super 8 Motel on Roland Road.

The fire broke out in a room on the second floor. Crews were able to put it out quickly but two rooms have been damaged.

The exact cause hasn’t been determined but firefighters are calling it “suspicious”.
