Fire in San Antonio building may have been started by homeless man found on the roof

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Firefighters say a homeless man may be responsible for sparking a fire in a building near downtown San Antonio.

According to Fox 29, the fire was called in just after 2 A.M. Wednesday from an abandoned building on North San Marcos.

Firefighters entered the structure to find trash and other debris burning on the third floor.

They were able to extinguish the flames before they caused any major damage.

Once the firefighters made their way to the roof, they found a homeless man who was taken into custody.

Police are looking into whether or not he started the fire.
