Fire damages chicken restaurant on San Antonio’s Northeast Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An early morning fire did some damage to a Northeast Side restaurant.

At around 4:30 A.M. Friday, crews were called to the Church’s Chicken location in the 1000 block of Rittiman Road.

It was a grease fire that started in a vent and it caused about $50,000 in damage.

No word on whether or not the restaurant will be open for business today.
