Fire damages spa building at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort in Boerne

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Several fire departments have been fighting a fire at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort in Boerne.
According to a post on the Kendall County Emergency Management Facebook page, the call came in Monday night from the business at 1 Resort Way.
The fire was in the resort’s spa and fire crews from Leon Springs, Boerne, Comfort and Bergheim responded to the scene.
Kendall County Emergency management is asking those in the area to avoid going near the resort.
The resort is owned by Country Music Star George Strait. It suffered severe damage in a 2017 fire and reopened in 2019 after undergoing extensive renovations.
The cause of the Monday night fire hasn’t been determined and no injuries have been reported.
