Fire destroys mobile home on Northwest side, neighboring structures damaged as well

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Another vacant structure is destroyed by fire and the flames may have been sparked by homeless people who had been staying there.
It happened Sunday night at a mobile home on West Military Drive near Marbach Road.
The mobile home was fully engulfed when crews arrived and the fire was spreading to some nearby structures.
Firefighters had the flames out quickly, stopping them before they could cause heavy damage to the neighboring homes.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Officials say the mobile home was supposed to be vacant, but some area homeless citizens had been using it for shelter.
