BEXAR COUNTY, Tex. (KTSA News) — Five people were shot near the University of Texas at San Antonio early Sunday morning, killing one and wounding four.

San Antonio police say two cars were seen leaving the scene at the intersection of UTSA Boulevard and Interstate 10 shooting at each other.

Police do not know why they were shooting each other.

An 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.  The four other victims — two 18-year-old men, a 19-year-old man, and a 22-year-old man — were all taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Police continue to investigate.
