(KTSA News) — A Florida man used a trash can to remove an alligator from his driveway.
Eugene Bozzi told ABC News he used his army instincts when he encountered the gator.
“I think it was my duty to protect everybody,” Bozzi said.
The 26-year-old grabbed a trash can, put it on the side, and coaxed the gator to get in. In the video of the encounter, the gator can be heard hissing at Bozzi as the garbage can was pushed closer to it.
“He reminded me of, like, a teenaged boy locked in a cage. I was like ‘Damn! What’s going on?!'”
Bozzi said he rolled the bin to the edge of a pond and let the gator free.
No one was hurt.
