Forbes: Spurs 11th Most Valuable in NBA

The numbers are in–and you won’t find the San Antonio Spurs in the top 10 on Forbes list of most valuable NBA franchises.

The five-time NBA champs check in at number 11–valued at a little over $1-billion.

Despite their failings on the floor in recent years–the New York Knicks are valued the highest–at about $3-billion–followed by the Lakers, Bulls, Celtics, and Clippers. The current NBA champ Golden State Warriors rank sixth, worth just under $2-billion.

Both the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks ranked ahead of the Spurs–placing eighth and ninth on Forbes’ list.

At the “bottom” of the list–you find the Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Pelicans–both valued by Forbes at less then $700-million.
