Former Journey singer Steve Perry announces upcoming release of Christmas album

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — One of the most iconic voices in rock n’ roll history is about to release a new album and it will be a lot different from his previous work.

Former Journey frontman Steve Perry says he’s putting out a festive holiday record called “The Season,”.

He shared the news of his upcoming album on his social media pages.

“I hope when people hear this record, they will be teleported in the same way I was when I recorded all these songs. I hope it brings them back to those golden moments with their loved ones and gives them that feeling of joy, connection & comfort that we all miss so much.”

Some of the other tracks on the upcoming album include “Winter Wonderland,” “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and “Silver Bells.”

“The Season” will be Perry’s first holiday album.

It’s available for pre-order now and is set for a November 5th release.
