Former Spur Antonio Daniels to host 20th annual basketball camp

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A former San Antonio Spur who helped the team win its first NBA Championship is hoping to pass his ball handling skills on to your children.
For 20 years, Antonio Daniels has hosted his annual basketball camp for area 7 to 17 year olds.
Daniels and his team of coaches will not only provide basketball skills and training sessions but also lessons on development and life skills that can be applied beyond sports.
Each day, campers will start with drills, practice and play in games in the afternoon.
“It’s a blessing to be able to be able to use sports not only to teach athletic skills, but also important life skills like leadership, teamwork, faith, and respect,” said Antonio Daniels. “I love hosting this camp every year in San Antonio; the local community means so much to me, my former teammates, and my family.”
