Free showing of Star Wars at Hemisfair

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — For the next three Tuesday nights, people will gather at Hemisfair to watch movies that were made a long time ago…in a galaxy far, far away.
Hemisfair and Slab Cinema are going to show the first three Star Wars movies for free.
Tonight it’s the very first Star Wars from 1977. The Empire Strikes Back is next Tuesday then Return of the Jedi on July 2nd.
Make sure you get there by 7:30 for performances by local musicians and get a selfie with some of the costumed characters that will be strolling through the galaxy that is the Great Lawn.
The movie begin at around 8:30.
