Freezing temperatures heading this way

SANA NTONIO (KTSA News) – Freezing temperatures are heading our way .

Meteorologist Bob Fogarty with the National Weather Service says a cold front will arrive Tuesday afternoon.

“It’s real dry, so we’re not going to see any precipitation from it, but it’s going to get pretty breezy this afternoon,” said Fogarty. “Winds are going to turn out of the North, probably about 15 to 20 miles an hour with gusts up to 30.”

Fogarty told KTSA News it’ll be windy again Wednesday with temperatures in the 50s, but freezing temperatures will arrive by early Thursday.

“Thursday morning, we’re probably going to get right around freezing in San Antonio, maybe 31 or 30 degrees,” said Fogarty.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the 20s in the Hill Country, so you may want to bring in the pets and plants, and wrap the pipes.
