Frontier, Sun Country offering flights to Cancun, Atlanta and more at SAT

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Frontier and Sun Country airlines are bringing back flight service to a number of destinations at the San Antonio International Airport later this month.

Frontier will offer year-round flights to Atlanta and Philadelphia, and Sun Country will resume seasonal service to Cancun, Las Vegas and Minneapolis.

“The return of these flights gives travelers even more options to see our beautiful city this Summer and discover the charm that makes this city unique. This is also an opportunity for local travelers looking for low-cost family vacations to visit these popular destinations”, said Jesus H. Saenz, Jr, Director of Airports, San Antonio Airport System. “We expect the airport to be extremely busy this season and we are prepared to welcome the traffic”.

Frontier flight service to Atlanta will begin May 26 on Thursdays and Sundays. Flight service to Philadelphia will begin June 10 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Sun Country’s flight service to Minneapolis will run from May 20 to November 28 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.  On May 27, Sun Country will begin service to Cancun on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays. Las Vegas flight service will operate twice weekly starting in September.
