Ft Sam Cemetery Improvements

Some improvements are being made for visitors to the Fort Sam National Cemetery.

Director Freda Robinson says the project gets underway today.

They’ll be resurfacing the main route through the cemetery, moving some buildings and widening the main entrance.

That means visitors will have to use the entrance on Winans Road until work is wrapped up in October.

Robinson says the end result will have the updates needed to continue honoring Veterans and their families with the dignity they deserve.
