Fugitives from Midland and Ft. Worth added to Texas 10 Most Wanted List

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Texas Department of Public Safety is adding two fugitives from Midland and Ft. Worth to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Lists, and both are considered armed and dangerous.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to the arrest of Antonio Gonzales of Midland. Law enforcement reports he is affiliated with a west Texas gang and he has been wanted since February 2021. Gonzales also has ties to Mexico.

Gonzales is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has tattoos on his head, neck, chest, abdomen, back, left shoulder and hand, fingers, both ears, arms, wrists and legs.

A Crime Stoppers reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of John Edward Ashley of Ft. Worth. He has been wanted since December 2020 on a parole violation after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a child in May of that year.

Ashley is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds.

To be eligible for cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following three methods:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  • Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about then clicking on the link under their picture.
  • Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

All tips are anonymous.
