SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Governor Greg Abbott is just as outraged as many of you are after seeing  video of a man on a scooter weaving in and out of traffic on IH 35 in Dallas.

“That does it,” tweeted  Abbott. “I believe in less government, but allowing these scooters on crowded interstate highways is bad government and endangers public safety.”

The governor added that “action is needed,” but he did not elaborate on what course of action he would recommend.

KTSA News previously posted a story with the video caught on Josh Weatherl’s dashboard camera Monday morning, which shows the man on the Lime scooter starting in the far left lane calmly maneuver his way across four more lanes of traffic before exiting IH 35.

“Bro, what are you doing?” Wetherl is heard saying over and over  as he watches the highway scooter nonchalantly cross the lanes of traffic in front of him.
