SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Greg Popovich has kicked over another beehive.

This time with comments about the Black Lives Matter movement, particularly those who don’t support the group.

During a recent conference call with reporters, the Head Coach of the San Antonio Spurs was asked what the Black Lives Matter movement means to him personally. He admitted it would be tough to explain in 20 or 30 seconds…but he went for it.

“It’s no different for me than it is for anybody else who cares about justice and who can be empathetic to the fact that justice has been denied to a group of people for far too long.”

Popovich continued by saying that “Enough is enough” and that “everybody is tired of it, especially the group that has been degraded and savaged for so long.”

He ended his statement by saying:

“People who don’t understand Black Lives Matter or are offended by it are just ignorant.”

The Spurs, who were in 12th place the the Western Conference when the season was stopped are in Florida as they continue to prepare for the NBA restart.

They will resume play against the Sacramento Kings this Friday night.
