Heading to the Airport This Spring Break?

Planning to fly away this spring break?

If so, the folks at San Antonio International Airport have some advice.

“Get here at least two hours early to the International Airport so you can accommodate the flux and the surge of passengers I know are going to be there over this heavily traveled period” said Airport Director Tom Jones, who told KTSA News things will be very busy if this spring break is anything like last year’s.

“Last year, we processed over 150-thousand passengers during the spring break period” Jones said, adding a big bulk of those flights will take off between 5 AM and 7 AM.

More advice from Jones: keep an eye on the parking situation–and maybe see if you can arrange a ride to the airport instead of parking there.
