Holding on to Faith in Troubling Times

Without faith, we wouldn’t be able to handle the tragedy all around us.

The words of Sister Jane Anne Slater at the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

“We have to know that in the middle of all of this that God is present with us, so we have that confidence that ultimately good is going to prevail.”

She says God gave each of us free will and sometimes, people make bad decisions that lead to tragedy.

“God is with the rest of us with a special grace to be able to look for the good, to maintain our course towards unity and love and acceptance.”
