Homeless man stabbed multiple times in Downtown San Antonio while rescuing his sister during assault

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio police are looking for whoever stabbed a homeless man multiple times Wednesday night.

Officers were called to an area near Austin Street and IH-35 just before 11 p.m.

That’s where the homeless man saw his sister being assaulted by another man.

The man tried to stop the attack and was stabbed in the chest multiple times. He is in critical condition at an area hospital.

Police say the man who stabbed him was driving a white car and had reportedly brought some food to the siblings.

No names have been released.
