Homeowner: Dogs accidentally started fire that damaged home on West Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A fire that caused thousands of dollars in damage to a West Side home is being blamed on the homeowner’s dogs.

The call came in at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday from the 100 block of Allsup Street.

Everyone managed to get out of the home but one of the residents was treated for minor burns.

One of the homeowners tells firefighters that their dogs accidentally started the fire but exact cause is still being investigated.
