Honor Walk for fallen San Antonio Firefighter planned for Tuesday morning

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An Honor Walk to remember a fallen San Antonio Firefighter will take place this morning.

Greg Garza, a 17 year SAFD veteran was killed while responding to a fire call last week. He was hit by a van while stepping off a firetruck.

The Honor Walk will start at the Alamodome at 10 A.M and make it’s way to Main Plaza. While the public isn’t invited to take part in the walk, you’re invited to watch.

Meanwhile, a memorial service for Garza is planned for tomorrow at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullogh. Visitation for firefighters is from 3 P.M. until 5 P.M.

Public visitation is from 5 P.M. until 6:30 P.M.
