House fire on San Antonio’s Northeast side sparked by lightning

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It’s one of the many dangers that come when severe weather rolls in.

Lightning strikes sparking house fires.

It happened Monday night in the 4300 block of Jeffs Farm on the Northeast side.

Smoke could be seen coming from the attic when firefighters arrived at around 11 P.M.

It didn’t take long for them to extinguish the fire and a dollar amount on the damage isn’t available.

The homeowner was able to get out safely.
