Hurd: No Signs of Holiday Terror Threat to U.S.

As acts of terror stun parts of the world, Congressman Will Hurd said there’s no active threat here.

“There is not, the intelligence community hasn’t seen it,” Hurd told KTSA News. “We can’t let the bad guys win, if we let them change our behaviors…this is an amazing time to be with your families and friends and think about how lucky we are to be where we are.”

He said the intelligence community is good at scrubbing information.

“The reason that we haven’t had the massive attack that we saw on 9/11 is because the men and women of the intelligence services, law enforcement community, and military are still operating as if it’s September 12th,” he said.

Hurd said vigilance is always a must, even around the holidays.
