IH-35 exits near San Marcos outlets closed this weekend

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News)– If your Black Friday shopping excursion finds you heading to the outlet stores in San Marcos, be prepared for some heavy traffic delays.
The City of San Marcos says they are closing two of the IH-35 ramps near the San Marcos Premium Outlets this weekend.
Here’s what you can expect:
The southbound I-35 Centerpoint Road (Exit 200) ramp and the northbound I-35 McCarty Lane (Exit 201) ramp will be closed from Friday, November 29 at 4 a.m. to Saturday, November 30 at 8 p.m.
Southbound motorists will need to exit McCarty Lane (Exit 201).
Northbound motorists will need to use Centerpoint Road (Exit 200).
According to a post on Facebook, police presence will be increased at the outlet mall throughout the weekend.
