SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — You probably won’t see anybody wearing these t-shirts this summer.
Not in Texas anyway.
It’s a Whataburger shirt commemorating the chain’s new Chicago ownership.
Iowa based Raygun company’s new shirt shows the burger maker’s orange colors and logo with the message “Chicago’s Most Famous Texas Hamburger Chain (AS OF JUNE 2019).”

Raygun’s online ads for the new shirt design include several memes including one that imagines Chicago style pizza as a new Whataburger menu item.
The swag may seem insensitive to Texans who are still coming to grips with the recent sale of the beloved burger chain to Chicago based BDT Capital Partners.
The t-shirts are selling for $23.
