I find myself thinking of family and friends of the Surfside condo collapse.

There is something worse than just being told a loved one is dead—being told they are “probably dead”.

Seeing that video. Looking at rubble piled higher than a two-story house, solid, driven-together wreckage.

When you hear Psalm 23,”…though I walk through the valley of the shadow of  death…”, well, that’s a walk many of these folks are taking.

Hope the recovery work speeds up and the political mumbo-jumbo slows down.
