Jack Riccardi: Just A Minute, “I Broke Down a Door To Work in Radio”

I don’t mean that figuratively, like people say they broke through “glass ceilings” or something.

Broke. Down. The. Door. With a sledgehammer. Stayed on the air for 12 hours. Figured they’d fire me and I’d never get to do radio again.

Instead, it was the biggest break I ever had (see what I did there?).
