If you’ve ever heard him speak, you know Allen West is a powerful, smart conservative.
After serving in Congress from Florida, he relocated here, and became chair of the TX GOP.
A year or so later, he resigned, and now he’s declared for governor against Greg Abbott.
If he wants to make maximum impact for the ideas and values he articulates, it’s a curious choice.
