Jack Riccardi: Just A Minute, “The Oscar Goes To…”

As recently as 2014, the Academy Awards show drew around 40M viewers. This year, it looks like it’ll be fewer than 10M.

There are still great actors, but we’re tired of being lectured to, by people who make movies for one another’s approval.

Oh, and “Shaft” from 1971, was on my screen last night. Even though I’ve seen it a dozen times, it’s still a favorite.
