SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — As the beginning of the NFL season gets closer…Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is feeling confident about a trio of big money contracts.

Jones says he has to fit Ezekial Elliott, Dak Prescott and wide receiver Amari Cooper signed to extensions and remain under the NFL salary cap.

Earlier this week, Dak Prescott was offered a 30 million dollar a year contract, which he turned down. The quarterback wants 40 million for his services.

Jones isn’t sure if they are any closer to an extension.

Then there is the issue of their Pro-Bowl running back missing training camp because he wants a new deal as well.  Jones isn’t expressing any concerns saying Elliott can “hit the ground running” and will be in great shape.”
