SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A judge has ordered three dogs connected to the death of a one-year-old boy to be euthanized.

KSAT-12 reports the dogs, owned by 36-year-old Heather Rodriguez, were seized after Jiryiah Johnson was attacked earlier this month.

The boy died from his injuries at a local hospital.

Rodriguez agreed to surrender the dog directly responsible for the attack but refused to hand over the other two.

They’ve been seized as well.

During a dangerous dog hearing Thursday, the judge ordered all three dogs be euthanized.

Rodriguez has 10 days to appeal the ruling.

This is a developing story and KTSA News will provide updates as they become available.
