Kerrville man arrested in San Antonio, charged in shooting death
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It took police in multiple jurisdictions to find and arrest a Kerrville man accused of murder.
Gabriel Rene Aleman was arrested by the San Antonio Police Department Saturday night, and this came hours after the shooting death of Deanna Leann Arispe, 36 in Kerrville. Investigators say Arispe was shot and killed before 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning in the 2800 block of Hunt Street.
After the investigation got underway, detectives with the Kerrville Police Department got word that Aleman had found a way to San Antonio after the shooting, and he was later found and arrested in the 400 block of San Gabriel. The suspect was arrested just before 11 p.m. Saturday night and he was booked into the Bexar County Jail on a murder charge and given a $1,000,000 bond.
A woman accused of taking Aleman to San Antonio was also arrested. Casandra Carin Moreno, 31, was charged with hindering apprehension, which is a 3rd degree felony. Moreno was arrested in the 300 block of Carolyn Street West in Ingram, just north of Kerrville.
The investigation continues and additional charges could be filed.
