Kerrville PD: Failed kidnapping attempt near Kerrville elementary school

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Kerrville Police Department is confirming a student is safe after a failed kidnapping attempt near an Elementary School on Thursday afternoon.
In a release sent by the Kerrville Independent School District (KISDS), Superintendent Brent Ringo says the kidnapping attempt happened down the street from Tom Daniels Elementary School after classes were dismissed. A number of students walk from the campus down Singing Wind Drive, the street where the incident happened.
KISD confirms the student was unharmed, but there is no word on any arrests or suspect description.
