Kevin Wolff will not seek reelection

CONVERSE, Tex. (KTSA News) — Bexar County commissioner Kevin Wolff announced Thursday that he will not be seeking reelection.

His term ends January 2021.

Wolff did not explain his decision to not seek reelection other than saying it was not an easy decision.

He used the letter to laud his accomplishments on the commissioners court and in his previous political life as a San Antonio city councilman.

Wolff said he intends to stay involved as a private citizen, hinting the decision is not connected to a pursuit of another office.

Wolff has been in public office since 2005.  His father is Bexar County judge Nelson Wolff.
