Severe thunderstorms likely through Tuesday night

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The National Weather Service is elevating the chances for severe weather throughout South Central Texas through Tuesday evening, or later.

The area in question now falls at a Level 2 of 5 risk, which means large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are all possible for around than 24 hours through Tuesday night.

Weather forecasters believe there could be multiple rounds of severe weather, and you are urged to stay weather aware.

The main areas at risk include San Antonio, the Hill Country and the I-35 Corridor heading north of Austin.
