Lina Khil reward increased to $250k on her 4th birthday

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The reward for information leading to the safe return of Lina Khil is now a combined $250,000.

The announcement of the increased reward by the Islamic Center of San Antonio coincided with Lina’s birthday on Sunday and marked just over two months since she disappeared from her Northwest side apartment complex’s playground on December 20.

Crime Stoppers of San Antonio is also offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a person accused in Lina’s disappearance pushing the reward total up to its quarter-million-dollar figure.

“Her light is missing from her family and community. Our continuous prayer is that she will be back in the arms of those that love her,” Pamela Allen, who is representing the Khil family, told ABC News on Saturday.

The San Antonio Police Department and FBI have been investigating her disappearance as a missing persons cases and not an abduction. The departments have conducted countless land, air and water searches at the apartment and in nearby greenways and creeks since her disappearance.

“There’s been no pause in our efforts. SAPD continues to work with the FBI to find Lina Sardar Khil who went missing on Dec 20. The investigation is on-going. [Please] report any info no matter how insignificant you may think it is,” Chief William McManus tweeted on Saturday.

Anyone with information is asked to call SAPD at 210-207-7660 or Crime Stoppers at 210-207-2374. Tips can be submitted online or via the P3 app.
