Logo for S.A.’s Final Four Unveiled

The logo for the 2018 Final Four was unveiled Thursday. The tournament is returning to the Alamo City for the first time in 10 years and while a lot of work is being done to prepare, seeing the logo for the first time makes it seem real.

Former Spur Sean Elliott, who made a memorable appearance in the 1988 Final Four says it’s a big day for San Antonio. He likes the logo.

“It’s simple, it’s understated, it doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles on it and that the way I like it.”

Dan Gavitt who is the VP of Men’s Basketball for the NCAA says the logo features the Alamo and the Riverwalk. He hopes the logo represents the city well.

“it’s always an exciting day to unveil it because it makes it so real.”
