Looking for San Antonio Stars

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – So you want to be a star…a San Antonio star.

Just put together a short video about what you think makes our city great and turn it in to the folks at Visit San Antonio. You just might end up being part of their marketing campaign.

“We’re asking the people of San Antonio to tell their own stories about the city,” said Richard Oliver with Visit San Antonio. “Who knows the city better than those folks who live it everyday and who love this city?”

Your video can highlight anything from entertainment to art and culture, and food and family.

“There are areas where there are some really historic, authentic, warm places that speak to the heartbeat of San Antonio and those are the people we’re trying to find,” Oliver said.

If you’re 18 or older, you can submit your video up to 2 minutes long at VisitSanAntonio.TV. Entries will be screened and if they like your idea, they’ll call you. Who knows? Your story promoting our city could end up on VisitSanAntonio.TV, YouTube and various other social media sites.

The deadline to submit your video pitch is October 17.
