Lower temps, rainy weekend ahead for San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It’s shaping up to be a wet week and weekend ahead in San Antonio.
The National Weather Service is reporting that storm chances will pick up locally starting this evening with a small chance for thunderstorms to produce strong wind gusts and hail.
The heaviest rainfall amounts through tonight are forecast to be near the Highway 281 and I-35 Corridors, according to the NWS.
The NWS said a cold front will move through the area late Thursday into Friday which will bring with it cooler temperatures and the highest chances for precipitation through the weekend.
Wednesday: 40% chance for precipitation, high temperature 89.
Thursday: 80% chance for precipitation, high temperature 87.
Friday: 90% chance for precipitation, high temperature 79.
Saturday: 80% chance for precipitation, high temperature 81.
Sunday: 50% chance for precipitation, high temperature 82.
Monday: 30% chance for precipitation, high temperature 83.
