Lt. Gov Slams Fox News Over Caucus

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick believes fellow Texan Ted Cruz has what it takes to win the Republican nomination for President. He finished first in the GOP Caucus in Iowa, followed by Donald Trump and Marco Rubio.

“He has a message, he’s a hard-working candidate and he has money,” Patrick said on the Trey Ware morning show. “Coming out of Iowa, Cruz has $19 million cash on hand and Marco has something like $2 million.”

Patrick, who spent several days campaigning for Cruz in Iowa, doesn’t think the senator from Texas is getting his fair share of media attention after winning the GOP Caucus. He says they seem more focused on Rubio, who finished in third place.

“I’m very disappointed in how Fox News is handling this. They’re supposed to be fair and balanced, ” said Patrick
