Mail In Ballot Request Deadline

If you plan on voting via mail in ballot, Friday is the deadline to request one.

Jacque Callanen at the Bexar County Elections Office says if you are sending in a ballot application, they need to be in to her office by 7 o’clock tonight.

Now, once you get your ballot, you have a little time to complete it and send it back in. The deadline for that is 7pm on November 8th.

Callanen tells us her office has sent out 42,000 ballots and about half of those have been sent back in.

If you’re voting through the mail and you want to make sure the elections office has your ballot, just call 335-VOTE and whoever answers the phone will be able to help you out.
