SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An investigation is underway at Lake Corpus Christi State Park after a man and a child were found dead.
The San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office says it all started with a distress call about five swimmers in trouble on Sunday. After police and game wardens arrived on the scene, three of the swimmers found. They were identified as two young adults and a 2-year-old child.
Still missing were a 29-year-old man and a 4-year-old child in Catfish Cove.
In a post to Facebook, Sheriff Oscar Rivera announced the discovery of the man’s body on Monday.
KSAT-12 reports the child was found dead on Tuesday.
There is no word yet on what led to the distress call.
